	POSITION AVAILABLE: COMPANY CONTROLLER

	Job responsibilities: Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements Maintain and reconcile all subsidiary accounts Prepare monthly journal entries and year-end closing entries Analyze and review actual account balances with budget account balances Review monthly job cost reports and prepare over/under billing reports Oversee weekly payroll Prepare and file all federal, state and local payroll tax returns Monitor accounts receivable Collect accounts receivable and record on system Approve and process payments in accounts payable Reconcile payroll and accounts payable cash accounts Oversee corporate investments, lines of credit and maintain banking relationship Prepare quarterly reports for bonding company Oversee the ESOP and Profit Sharing Plans Job Qualifications: Degree in Accounting 5-10 years experience in the construction industry Strong communication skills Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel Strong work ethic and highly motivated Ability to work independently
